- Responsibilities include to provide MSTR administrative support for duties including:
- Installation, configuration and support of multiple BI platforms MicroStrategy
- Server configuration (architecture and design)
- Security (ex. permissions for users, managing capabilities for license types)
- Perform software installations including routine updates/fixes, major product upgrades, patches, enhancements, customizations, and new version releases.
- Provide priority 1 and/or priority 2 support of platforms and processes.
- Migrate objects between environments per the established Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Monitor performance trends, system stability, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshooting report/server issues.
- Tune processes, servers, applications for optimal performance.
- Identify long term solutions that prevent and reduce reoccurrence of issues.
- Incident, Problem and Change management, ensuring tickets are closed within SLA
- Ensuring backups are being performed regularly, ensuring that the platforms are performing to their potential, and addressing any issues that arise.
